I will write about a fantasy novel series "Chronicles of Ancient Darkness".
It consists of 6 books which had been already published. Those books are published for children so the story is quite simple.
What I love about the novel is the detailed description of the nature. We can feel the wideness of the forest and the lively animals which live there. I love the design of the back cover and the illustrates as well. It helps me to imagine the world 6000 years ago.

The origin of the modern fantasies
I'll write about "The Lord of the Rings" today.
This is one of my favourite fantasies, and I understand why this story affected so many fantasies that exist today. The settings of the world, history and language are so detailed, as if the world of Middle-earth really exists. I have to admit that many people (including me) found that the detailed description (e.g. the history) makes story too long, but there are many attractive characters of different races, and I love their conversations (especially Merry and Pippin's!).
I really want to read it again!
If you love the movie and haven't read the novel, you should!! You can find lots of stories which were not told in the film.

The most popular one?
I'll write about Harry Potter series. I think that many people will come up with Harry Potter when they are asked to think of a fantasy novel.
It's a long story, and I'm quite sure that you would find it boring to hear what I think about the novel.
So, I want to focus on one thing today.
The brooms.
I was about 10-year-old when I first read Harry Potter. I loved it so much that I didn't wanted to stop reading to eat dinner. I loved the world, story and characters, but the thing which interested me most was the flying brooms.
One day I dreamed that I was flying. The funny thing is that I was on a bamboo stick which I had at home instead of a broom!! I was flying up and down around my home. I dreamed similar dreams for several times after that.
...I still want to fly somehow ;)
